Museum Education

The museum education programmes offered by the institutions of the Zalaegerszeg Museums Directorate provide engaging and enriching experiences for children from kindergarten through secondary school.

Our exhibitions are closely linked to the curricula of history, local history and folk culture, ethics, music, environmental studies, Hungarian language and literature, visual arts, design and technology, as well as drama and dance.

Museum Education – Interactive Learning and Activities

Our aim is to create inspiring learning experiences that encourage creativity and holistic thinking. Through a wide range of museum education programmes, we make learning an enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. Children gain valuable knowledge and practical experience while sharing memorable moments with their peers. Our interactive exhibitions and educational activities help participants discover the richness of our collections, deepen their understanding of the topics presented, and explore the unique history and cultural heritage of the local region.

The possibilities are endless:

  • Visiting our exhibitions with guidance provided by the accompanying teacher,
  • Visiting our exhibitions with a museum guide,
