Questions About Payment and Admission Tickets

Can I pay by bank card at the museum?Yes, at the ticket offices of the Göcseji Museum, the Mindszentyneum and the Göcseji Open-Air Museum you can pay with cash, OTP, K&H and MKB SZÉP cards, as well as Mastercard/Maestro/Visa bank cards. With a purchased ticket, how many times can I enter the exhibition area of the Mindszentyneum?The validity of the ticket corresponds to the opening hours on the day of purchase.
Can I pay by bank transfer for my visit to the Mindszentyneum?If you would like to pay the participation fee for a group visit or museum programme by bank transfer, please inform our staff at least two weeks before your planned visit.

Parking Questions

Where can I park and how much does it cost when visiting the museum?If you are visiting the Göcseji Museum or the Mindszentyneum, please use the Galamb Street parking area next to the ZTE Arena, approximately 250 metres from the museum. The Göcseji Open-Air Museum has its own large parking area. Both locations can also accommodate buses.

Accessibility Questions

Where can I find accessible parking spaces?In front of the Göcseji Museum (Batthyány Street 2) there are three accessible parking spaces available for visitors to the Göcseji Museum and Mindszentyneum. At the Göcseji Open-Air Museum there is currently no designated accessible parking, but the parking capacity is sufficient.
Can I visit the museum exhibitions with reduced mobility?Yes. Further information is available on the Accessibility page.

Pet Owners

Can I bring my dog to the museum and exhibitions?Only assistance dogs are allowed in the Göcseji Museum and the Mindszentyneum, while pets may enter the Göcseji Open-Air Museum if kept on a leash.

Guided Tours

I am a tour guide. Can I lead my own tour in the Mindszentyneum?No, guided tours may only be conducted by our own museum guides. Prices are available under the Guided Tours section.
Can I request a guided tour led by curators or the building designers at the Mindszentyneum?Yes, our curators are happy to present exhibitions for groups, exclusively by prior arrangement and pricing agreement: titkarsag@mindszentyneum.hu
I am a teacher. Can I hold my own lesson in the exhibitions?Yes, teachers may hold lessons in the permanent exhibitions. In all other cases, guided tours and educational activities are provided exclusively by trained museum staff. Please indicate your intention during group registration and contact titkarsag@mindszentyneum.hu in advance.

Discounts

I am a journalist/photographer preparing an article or interview about the Mindszentyneum. Do I need to register?Yes, please notify us in advance. Your press card must be presented at the ticket office.

Services

Can I hold my wedding at the Mindszentyneum?We are happy to provide spaces for wedding ceremonies, but we cannot host wedding receptions. For pricing, please contact Szaknyéri Tünde: konferencia@mindszentyneum.hu
Is it possible to take wedding photos inside the Mindszentyneum?Yes, with prior booking and for a fee. Please contact our staff for details.
Is there a restaurant or dining option at the Open-Air Museum?There is a small village shop where coffee, soft drinks and ice cream are available.

Can I eat my own food inside the Mindszentyneum?Food and drinks may only be consumed in designated areas. The Mindszentyneum Café offers coffee, tea, hot chocolate and cakes.
